Connected 2 Therapy delivers top-of-the-line school-based therapies (occupational, behavioral, speech, nursing, social work, physical, and hearing screenings) to students in Utah. We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services and supervise SLTs. We pay a competitive hourly rate, provide flexibility and autonomy with your work schedule, and respect your professional opinion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor speech-language technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of therapy programs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students to identify speech and language disorders and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and student progress
- Provide direct therapy services to students with complex or severe speech and language needs
- Ensure all therapy services are delivered in compliance with the USBE SLT handbook and other relevant guidelines and regulations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment and support student success
- Stay current with the advancements in the field of speech and language pathology and incorporate best practices into therapy services
Qualifications:
- Compliant with state education requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and certification according to USBE requirements
- Available to travel to and serve multiple schools throughout the state
- Flexible schedule that affords regular attendance at schools and meets school schedule needs
- Strong oral and written communication skills with parents, students, school staff, and company staff
- School experience preferred
