Technology Demand Administrator‑Staff

$43.00/hr – $69.00/hr

Job Description

The Technology Demand Administrator‑Staff is responsible for executing the demand and governance processes for technology projects across the organization. This role ensures that the Digital Technology Services (DTS) project portfolio is aligned with the strategic objectives, priorities, and resources of the business. The role is responsible for developing demands into consumable documents for governance and leadership review and decision making in accordance with Intermountain DTS’ established processes and tools.

The Technology Demand Administrator Staff works closely with leaders, project managers, resource managers and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of technology solutions that meet business needs and expectations.

Weekly hours: 40

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, regular business hours. Majority remote with occasional in‑person meetings (1–2 times a year).

Essential Functions
  • Executes DTS demand intake: evaluates feasibility, value, and strategic alignment of technology project requests.
  • Supports governance and cross‑governance committee flow and ensures alignment with company objectives.
  • Performance management: monitors and reports on status, risks, and issues of the technology demand portfolio.
  • Collaboration & communication: engages stakeholders, prepares presentations and documentation with minimal supervision.
  • Supports value realization processes and reports on initiatives to key stakeholders.
  • Demand leadership: leads cross‑functional teams through demand qualifications.
  • Supports stakeholders: provides guidance, training, and support to operational, clinical, and DTS caregivers.

Qualifications
  • Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Required: Experience with project management software (MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, Service Now).
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferred: Clinical background.
  • Preferred: AI experience.
  • Preferred: 3–7 years of related experience in technology environment.
  • Preferred: Experience working in large and complex organizations with multiple business units.
  • Preferred: Experience with in healthcare technology landscape.
  • Preferred: Physical and communicative requirements as listed (e.g., manual dexterity, interaction with providers, colleagues, patients).
