Temp SMT Machine Operator; Swing Shift

Overview

Temp SMT Machine Operator (Swing Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm) t Lake City, UT. This is a temporary role with potential for extension.

• Set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic SMT machines used in production.
• Work from process sheets or supervisor instructions; perform production tasks and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances.
• Familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) components and package types; interpret IPC-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications.
• Set up and operate automated SMT equipment (Screen Printer, Pick and Place Machine, Reflow Oven).
• Maintain SMT equipment and ensure quality of product produced on the SMT line (correct parts, polarity, etc.).
• Use hand tools and maintain a neat work area to 5S standards; practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions.
• Train co-workers and assist when problems arise; willing to work overtime as needed.

• Must have 2 – 4 years of experience in running SMT equipment.
• Able to interpret and apply IPC standards and customer specifications.
• Knowledge of various SMT package types and ability to operate related equipment.

• 2 – 4 years of experience running SMT equipment.

• This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
• Shall maintain a neat appearance of work area; adhere to safety policies.
