What You'll Do

As a Package Finishing Operator, you’re a key part of our Packaging Department, ensuring the final products meet all specifications.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Setting up jobs and running die cutting equipment.
• Understanding job requirements and planning accordingly to meet quality expectations.
• Performing preventive lubrication and maintenance and minor repairs on machines.
• Monitoring equipment operation and making adjustments to maintain speed and specifications.
• Troubleshooting job complications, machine errors, and malfunctions.
• Verifying product quality both in-process and upon completion of work.
• Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Providing regular status updates to the supervisor.

What You Bring to the Table

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 1 year EXPERIENCE REQUIRED in commercial die cutting operations for a commercial printer.
• 1 year EXPERIENCE REQUIRED in job set up and operation.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Clear and direct communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds, and perform physical tasks like squatting, crouching, kneeling, standing, walking, bending, and stretching for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment and near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
• Must be able to pass a background check upon offer of employment.
• Preferred: 1 year experience with Google Workspace.
