Nurse Practitioner - Full-time

Location:West Valley City, UT

Required Qualifications:

• National Certification from an accredited school

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care Nurse Practitioner/APRN role

• Experience providing primary care to a pediatric and adult population

• Current National Certification and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification

• License to practice independently in Utah

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Spanish

• EPIC personality (empathy, patience, integrity, and compassion)

Job Description

• Delivering pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric healthcare and patient management

• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests

• Prescribing and in some cases, dispensing medications

• Educating patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and the use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications

• Monitoring the effectiveness of interventions

• Recording medical histories and conducting physical exams

• Adhering to infection-control policies and protocols

• Operating basic medical equipment and instruments

• Performing minor procedures such as suturing, casting, and other minor procedures

• Attending events in the community for new patient acquisition and growth

• Adhering to all HIPAA protocols, clinical guidelines, and company policies and procedures

• Participating in team meetings, education conferences, and special projects
