Key Account Manager – Weir Minerals

Purpose of Role

The Key Account Manager is responsible for sales and aftermarket support across the states of Wyoming, Southern Idaho and Western Colorado. This leadership role oversees strategic account management, technical product enablement, and deep sector knowledge to drive performance across client relationships, team capabilities, and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety:
    Travel to mining sites requiring the Mining Safety Hazard Training (MSHA) and demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviors.
  • Relationships:
    Manage and grow relationships with high-value mining clients.
  • Account Focus:
    Develop and execute account strategies aligned with client production goals and operational needs.
  • Negotiation

    Skills:

    Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term partnership planning.
  • Organization

    Skills:

    Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for growth and retention.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years’ experience in mining industry sales, product support, and team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of mining operations, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Proven success in strategic account management and team development.
  • Skilled in CRM platforms, sales analytics, and training tools.
  • Comfortable working in remote mining environments and engaging with cross‑functional teams.
