Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, edit, and publish video content across Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and You Tube
• Design thumbnails and other visual assets using Canva
• Edit, retouch, and resize images for social media and digital use
• Write engaging captions that reflect YAGP’s voice and mission
• Help manage community engagement by monitoring comments, messages, tags, and mentions
• Develop creative ideas tailored to YAGP’s global audience
• Travel to select YAGP semi-finals and events, working on the travel team
• Review all content carefully to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality presentation
• Livestream classes at select events
• Adapt content for the specific style, audience, and technical requirements of each platform
• Regularly review and follow the social media content calendar to ensure all content is completed and published accurately and on schedule
Qualifications:
• Experience creating content for major social media platforms
• Strong video-editing skills; experience with photo-editing tools
• Strong knowledge of Canva
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong creative instincts and visual storytelling skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to last-minute changes
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
• Comfortable traveling and working select evenings and weekends during events
• Appreciation for ballet
• Strong understanding of social media trends, platform best practices, and audience engagement

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dance education organization, YAGP provides scholarships, education, and professional development opportunities to dancers ages 9–19 from all backgrounds.
