Position Summary
West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Urology seek a Urologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Additionally, travel may be required to other outreach clinics to facilitate practice growth and fulfill our mission to our communities and beyond.
Duties- Practice in the areas of General Urology.
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligible for state medical license.
- Completed a Urology residency program.
- Board certified or eligible in Urology.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
- Largest health system and largest private employer in West Virginia with 18 hospitals.
- Includes five institutes, management services for other local hospitals via affiliate agreements.
- Operates West Virginia's first and only multi‑organ transplant center and a 150‑bed Children's Hospital.
- Anchored by an 880‑bed academic medical center in Morgantown; 25 member hospitals serve a multi‑state region.
