West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences seek a Maternal‑Fetal Medicine Specialist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, West Virginia and will also provide remote services.
Duties:
The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Maternal‑Fetal Medicine. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for state medical license.
- Completed an ACGME accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program, and a Maternal‑Fetal Medicine fellowship program.
- Board certified or eligible in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

- Care and counseling before pregnancy begins (preconception care) for women who have increased medical, surgical, or genetic risks.
- Integrated care for chronic conditions during pregnancy.
- Obstetric complications – preterm labor and premature birth, multiple gestation, fetal growth disorders, recurrent pregnancy loss, gestational diabetes, kidney disease, infectious diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, rheumatologic diseases.
