Physician- General Surgery​/Bariatric Surgery

Overview

West Virginia University School of Medicine's Department of Surgery seeks a General Surgeon with interest in Bariatric Surgery. The successful candidate will be appointed at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank and will practice in Morgantown, WV.

• Practice in the areas of general surgery/bariatric surgery.
• Provide excellent patient care, including pre‑ and postoperative management.
• Actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for a state medical license.
• Completed a general surgery residency program.
• Completed a bariatric surgery fellowship program.
• Board certified or eligible in general surgery and bariatrics.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40;
Shift: Exempt/Non‑Exempt:
United States of America (Exempt).
