Planning Manager – Uncrewed Platform Division

Secure operational deliveries as our Planning Manager in Kongsberg Discovery

• Master Scheduling:
  Develop and manage production and project schedules across multiple sites and programs.
• Resource & Capacity Planning:
  Analyze workload, optimize resource allocation, and maintain ERP data integrity.
• Coordination & Compliance:
  Ensure coordination with internal and external stakeholders and alignment with contractual requirements and internal procedures.
• Performance Monitoring:
  Track progress against milestones, identify deviations early, and implement corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Drive standardization of planning practices and support Lean initiatives.

• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of project management principles
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work across multiple programs and sites

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, or operations within a manufacturing or project-driven environment
• Experience with project- and resource planning
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, AX, or similar)
• Experience with manufacturing of marine products and solutions is seen as positive
• Familiarity with quality standards, continuous improvement and data analytics tools is a plus
