TRC is currently hiring a Distribution Field Technician. This position will be working within our Power Distribution Engineering team and a part of our growing Power Sector.

• Perform visual inspection of overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities and equipment, compile field data, prepare minor work orders, and produce maintenance reports of distribution equipment.
• Provide assistance with storm damage assessments to overhead and underground distribution structures and equipment for areas in and out of state.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) or utility experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of computers and software applications such as MS Office products is desired.
• Clean and valid Driver’s license required.

Salary Range: USD $19.00 – USD $22.00 per hour. Compensation will vary based on experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:
Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program, contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators, which vary by year and employee.
