Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Millwood, WV, for an Environmental Health Safety Engineer. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, analyzing workplace environments, implementing EHS policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing safety training to employees. The role also involves collaborating across departments to ensure a safe and healthy working environment and continuously improving EHS programs in alignment with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge and experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Environmental Health, and Occupational Health.
- Expertise in Health & Safety and Safety Engineering practices, with the ability to manage and resolve safety concerns effectively.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA, CSP, or CIH are a plus.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.
