Part Time Barista

Part‑time role focused on preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking Starbucks products while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Prepare, process, package, and stock products in accordance with Starbucks Standards.
• Provide customer service, clean work areas, unload and reload stock, and manage salvage product reloading.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to complete required training, and teamwork to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

High school diploma or GED, or 1‑3 months related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English; write simple correspondence in English; present information to customers and associates speaking only English.

Perform addition and subtraction of two‑digit numbers using U.S. money and weight measurements.

Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Complete company training, including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge. Must be IST or AST certified.

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
• Occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) with reach from 6‑72 inches.
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, color, and depth perception.

Moderate environment with exposure to hot, cool, and extreme cold; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level usually moderate to loud.
