This is not just another treasury position. As KM prepares for IPO, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the treasury function for a newly listed, independent company. You’ll help define how we manage risk, drive value, and support global growth—directly impacting KM’s success as we step onto the public stage.
The position reports to the SVP Treasury in Kongsberg Maritime.
What You’ll DoMonitor and manage currency exposure, execute hedging strategies, and drive FX and interest rate risk management for a dynamic, international business.
Assist KM’s subsidiaries with FX risk mitigation strategies in specific tenders and projects, as well as related ongoing business.
Collaborate with KM’s subsidiaries, banks, and financial institutions to support major projects, tenders, and ongoing business.
Analyze market trends, develop risk mitigation plans, and maintain KM’s FX policy in line with best‑in‑class standards.
Deliver internal training and guidance on FX risk, building financial acumen across the organization.
Prepare analysis and recommendations for executive management, supporting decision‑making at the highest level.
What You BringBachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
5+ years’ relevant experience in treasury, project controlling, or FX brokerage.
Proven ability to work independently, with a strong commercial mindset and analytical approach.
Excellent communication skills—able to build networks and influence across internal and external stakeholders.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power
BI).

You have a sharp ability to identify risks and opportunities early, and you understand how decisions influence financial performance and long‑term value.
