If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance and Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, full-time basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Reinsurance Accountant US Professional Liability
.

• Review, processing and posting of reinsurance statements ofaccount for US business
• Claims processing including sanction review
• Participation in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
• Correspondence with internal and external customers, also in English
• Collaboration on automation and digitalisation initiatives
• Current account processing of incoming and outgoing payments

• Degree in business administration and/or commercial training with corresponding professional experience in accounting or finance
• English and German language skills at a conversational level
• Accounting know-how according toIFRS and HGB
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as SAP
• Team player
• Good analytical skills and understanding of numbers
