Job Description
The ideal candidate will oversee financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, company audits, and compliance. They will collaborate with the COO and the executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management within the music industry.
Responsibilities
- Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to the CEO and COO
- Support the financial planning and analysis efforts - Drive the budgeting process
- Build financial controls and improve financial operations
- Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
- Review and approve financial statements and reports
- Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
Qualifications
- 7 - 10 years of finance experience
- CPA or MBA preferred but not required
- Knowledge and experience working with intangible assets such as music royalties
- Knowledge and experience within the music industry
