Laboratory Analyst VI – Phibro Animal Health
Laboratory Analyst VI is the Quality Team at the Willow Island, WV manufacturing site supporting the Medicated Feed Additives (MFA) business. The role provides testing and release support for raw materials, in‑process, finished goods, and stability studies. The position requires a 4‑10 hr rotating daytime shift covering weekends with overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and prepare samples for analytical testing and initiation of stability studies.
- Perform physical testing of routine, non‑routine raw materials, in‑process, API and finished good release, and stability testing with little supervision.
- Coordinate own work assisting the lab to complete priority projects.
- Complete all activities following site cGMP, safety requirements, and Phibro Standards.
- Generate protocols and execute projects with minimal oversight; may lead a project and be responsible for completion.
- Maintain and follow SOPs and record keeping in accordance with GMP and cGMP regulations.
- Use technical ability to run routine samples independently and recognize abnormal results or instrument problems.
- Prepare and report charts and graphs to assist in evaluation and interpretation of data.
- Apply lean and 5‑S principles and maintain a safe and clean working area.
- High School degree or equivalent with approximately 20 years laboratory experience in an FDA regulated environment; or 2‑year degree with approximately 10 years experience or B.S. degree in a related scientific field with approximately 5 years of experience.
- 1‑10 years laboratory experience preferably in an FDA regulated environment; or 2‑year degree with 3 years experience or B.S. degree with 1.5 years experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to use and perform HPLC, UV, GC and other instrumental techniques.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate with MS Excel, Word; familiarity with Empower, Trackwise, SAP; knowledge of Lean concepts and 5‑S.
- Ability to work weekends and off shifts as needed.

CompensationHourly rate $35.00 - $35.00.
