Medical Lab Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled medical lab technician to join our team on a full-time, contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and possess excellent technical and analytical skills. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and procedures, analyzing and interpreting results, and maintaining accurate records of all lab activities.

• Perform various laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to blood tests, urine tests, and tissue samples.
• Prepare and analyze specimens, ensuring accuracy and precision in all testing.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure quality control and accuracy of results.
• Document and maintain accurate records of all lab activities, including test results and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of test results.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Associate's degree in medical laboratory technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a medical lab technician.
• Current certification as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) from a recognized accrediting agency.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
