Position Title

EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) OR CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

Occupational Health Manager

Provide medical assistance to our Pilgrim’s employees.

• Provide first‑aid treatments to injured employees throughout the facility.
• Carry, lift, and maneuver a first‑aid response bag (30–40 lbs), back board, stretcher, AED, wheelchair, and other medical necessities.
• Perform drug and alcohol screening for powered industrial truck operators, and as requested.
• Conduct annual hearing testing for facility employees.
• Assist in conducting daily restrictive duty checks.
• Document and maintain nursing documentation after each employee visit or communication.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Be courteous and professional when communicating with employees.
• Notify the Safety Department regarding any serious incident.
• Remain flexible with work schedule.
• Perform other duties as reasonably associated with the above.

• Strong leadership skills.
• Safety as a top priority.
• Experience supervising in an industrial setting.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced atmosphere.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Experience running a computerized control panel.
• Reasonable computer skills.
• Willing to travel for CPR instructor training (if not already certified).
• State license at EMT‑B level or above, or unexpired CNA license.
• CPR card at provider level.
• Must be bilingual.

• Reading, writing, and speaking English.

Work some Saturdays during times of increased beef production.
