Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Be Wise Wellness Clinic, LLC | Phoenix, AZ

About Be Wise Wellness Clinic

Be Wise Wellness Clinic is a growing Phoenix-based behavioral health counseling practice committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care in a professional, welcoming, and supportive environment.

We provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling and believe quality behavioral health care is strengthened through collaboration, community connection, and respect for both our clients and clinicians.

As our practice grows, we are seeking an Arizona Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who wants more than just another position. We are looking for a clinician who wants to become part of a growing team, contribute their expertise, and have opportunities to develop professionally.

The Opportunity

The LPC will provide outpatient behavioral health counseling to Be Wise clients through in-person and/or telehealth appointments.

This position is designed to provide professional autonomy and scheduling flexibility. It may be an excellent fit for an LPC who already has a private practice or other professional commitments and is interested in expanding their clinical work without committing to a traditional full-time schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group counseling within areas of competency
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments and clinical evaluations
  • Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed and client-centered therapy
  • Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as appropriate
  • Provide in-person and/or telehealth counseling
  • Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Follow professional ethics, Arizona licensing requirements, and Be Wise policies
  • Participate in clinical meetings, training, and quality-improvement activities as applicable
  • Collaborate appropriately with other professionals involved in client care
Why Join Be Wise?

We want clinicians to have the ability to practice, contribute and grow.

Benefits of working with Be Wise include:

  • Flexible scheduling
  • Professional autonomy
  • In-person and telehealth opportunities
  • Credentialing and onboarding support
  • Opportunities to build and expand your caseload
  • Comfortable, professional clinical environment
  • Collaborative leadership and clinical team
  • Opportunities to develop groups and specialized programming
  • Ability to bring your own clinical specialties and ideas to the practice
  • Community partnerships and referral opportunities
  • Opportunities for expanded responsibilities and leadership as the organization grows

Our Phoenix location also offers convenient parking, ADA parking and accessibility, and nearby bus and light rail access. Be Wise is connected to the 5830 Community, providing proximity to a broader hub of community programs, partnerships and resources.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Arizona Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in good standing
  • Master's degree in counseling or an applicable behavioral health field
  • Ability to conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Knowledge of DSM-based diagnosis and evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
  • Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive and client-centered care
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability and willingness to complete applicable payer credentialing and onboarding requirements
Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is welcomed but not required in every area:

  • Trauma-informed care
  • Grief and loss
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Couples and family counseling
  • Adolescents and young adults
  • Substance use and co-occurring concerns

  • Community-based behavioral health

We also welcome LPCs who have developed a particular clinical specialty or population focus and are interested in bringing that expertise to Be Wise.

Schedule

Flexible.

We understand experienced clinicians may have private practices, other employment, family responsibilities, or existing professional commitments. Our goal is to establish consistent availability that works for both the clinician and Be Wise clients rather than requiring an unnecessarily rigid schedule.
