Glamping Attendant

Overview

Provide unique and enriching glamping vacation experiences for families through excellent housekeeping and hospitality work.

• Ensure all lodgings and public areas are kept clean and according to standards
• Delivery excellent quality linen cleaning, folding, and inventory. Using industrial laundry machines.
• Strip, reset, and set-up glamping tents according to housekeeping standards
• Assist with guests, check in through reservation software and prepare lodging spaces for guests
• Clean bathroom and shower facilities weekly
• Maintain grounds around camp to standard (pulling weeds)
• Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
• Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
• Perform additional duties assigned by S  leadership
• Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the S  staff handbook

• Minimum age: 18+
• Required:
  
  Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Preferred:
  Housekeeping or hospitality experience
• Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
• Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication

• Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines
• Housing: 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp
