Your Role
As a Data Engineer at Omniboost, you will design and maintain data pipelines, build integrations, and support the infrastructure that powers our products. Using Python, Go, SQL, and AWS, you will ensure high‑quality, reliable data flows that help hotels and restaurants around the world make smarter decisions. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams in agile settings, participate in architectural decisions around data and ML systems, and constantly look for ways to improve how we work with data.

- Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration and analytics.
- Build APIs and data services that connect internal systems and external partners.
- Develop and optimize data models for relational and No
SQL databases, ensuring they scale as we grow. - Ensure data quality, testing, and monitoring best practices are in place to deliver value to users.
- Work with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Redshift, and RDS to manage data infrastructure.
- Participate in architectural discussions about data and ML systems, contributing curiosity and vision.
- Use version control (Git) and collaborate effectively within agile teams.
- Document processes and share knowledge, helping others grow and learn.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, and SQL; excited to learn new tools and languages.
- Familiarity with API design and consumption.
- Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, etc.).
- Understanding of data modelling, database design, and integration patterns.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with an interest in leveraging AI for data workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data or ML.
- Knowledge of workflow automation/orchestration tools (e.g., n8n).
- Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., AWS CDK).
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or an interest in applying AI tools for data workflows.
