Oracle Financial System Analysts

for six months plus contract
-Only W2

The position can sit remote.

They need to live in EST or CST time zones

Client:
Mortenson Construction based out of Minnesota

Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

What will you be doing?

Requirements Analysis:
Identify and document user needs, functional requirements, and technical specifications for information systems.

System Design:
Develop logical and physical system designs, including data models, process flows and user interfaces.

System Implementation:
Implement new systems or system enhancements, including software installation, configuration, and testing.

System Maintenance:
Providing ongoing support for existing systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementation of necessary updates and modifications.

System Support:
Work with business and ITS team members and software vendors to troubleshoot problems and resolve applications issues.

Documentation:
Creating and maintaining technical documentation and system specifications.

Experience and Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

3+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications, ERP systems, financial applications, or related business processes.

Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

Experience with one or more Oracle Fusion Financials areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, or General Ledger.

Experience troubleshooting Oracle application, transaction, configuration, or data issues.

Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional system requirements.

Experience with application testing, including functional and regression testing.

Understanding of financial business processes and basic accounting concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with both Finance/business users and technical teams.

Preferred Experience:

Experience supporting multiple Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules, particularly Payables, Receivables, Expenses, and General Ledger.

Experience with Oracle reporting and data-loading capabilities.

Experience supporting Oracle integrations and troubleshooting integration-related issues.

Experience using SQL or other data-analysis tools to investigate application issues.

Experience assessing and testing Oracle quarterly releases.

Experience with Oracle Support and managing service requests.

Knowledge of financial controls, audit requirements, and segregation of duties.

Experience supporting Oracle Cloud applications in a production environment.

Experience participating in ERP implementations, upgrades, or significant application enhancements.
