Our client requires a Project Manager / Change Manager with strong project delivery capabilities to ensure change project proposals are efficiently and effectively delivered within our Defence client.
Responsibilities:
Manage, coordinate, and support the successful delivery of functional change projects from Authority to Proceed (ATP) to project completion for Defence. This role involves managing and tracking various projects and new capabilities, providing clarity on delivery and milestones, emphasizing project optimization and continuous improvement (CI), and ensuring smooth delivery on time and within budget.
Main
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Line management of the Project Coordinator
- Responsible for the successful delivery of projects
- Track and plan project resources to mitigate potential blockers
- Manage project costs and efforts across resources and teams
- Attend review meetings to update on project progress and adapt plans based on customer priorities
Skills and Experience:
- Prince2 Practitioner and/or equivalent (e.g., APM PMQ/PPQ)
- Experience in delivering change projects and new capabilities in multifaceted sectors
- Defence knowledge and experience is desirable
- Professional and ethical approach
- Ability to persuade and influence stakeholders
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Full Driving Licence
