Our Client:
Is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector. They have over 1,000 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting six long term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasingly in joint ventures and alliances.
The Role:
Our Client is looking to strengthen their commercial team with a Commercial Manager for their CMDP joint venture framework. Based at either the Brighton or Chatham office, you will provide leadership and management to the commercial delivery teams and core team commercial functions for the CMDP business.
CMDP is a joint venture which will deliver a range of schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water’s water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of its region (Kent & East Sussex).
Responsibilities:You will report directly to the Senior Commercial Manager and the responsibilities will include:
A comprehensive level of commercial experience preferably with a contracting organisation.
BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent construction related subject.
Professionally qualified to RICS, CMinst
CES or several years’ experience in a management & leadership role.
Preferably previous water/construction experience within a joint venture environment but this is not essential.
Experienced user of Microsoft products, Excel in particular.
Experience & Knowledge of IT reporting systems.
