Responsibilities

  • The Operations Manager will plan, organize, and direct the manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
  • Team Leadership:
    Build, Lead and manage the team, including supervisors, operators, and technicians, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient operations.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement quality management systems as per company and statutory guidelines.
  • Achieve production targets within set schedules and budgets while minimizing losses.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory HSE requirements and promote a safe working environment, achieve corporate objectives on EHS.
  • Develop, review, and implement capital expenditure (CAPEX) schemes within planned budgets and timelines.
  • Implement new schemes to improve productivity and achieve operational targets.
  • Reporting and Benchmarking:
    Establish robust reporting mechanisms to communicate operational performance effectively and benchmark
  • Implement strategic plans aimed at improving productivity, reducing operational costs, and enhancing product quality.
  • Relocation provided. $140K-$160K.
Requirements
  • The Operations Manager will have a BS degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in petrochemical manufacturing including experience as an Operations or Production Manager.
  • Technical expertise in chemical processes and operations, equipment, standards, and a high level of familiarity with design & engineering of chemical plants.
  • Demonstrated site administration and leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build, inspire and motivate teams.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Sound understanding of State and Federal safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.
  • Experience in budget management, cost control, and resource optimization.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
