Ritchie County Material Handler - Nightshift

Base Pay $17.00 per hour, $2.00 shift differential for night shift

Ability to level up in pay once experience is earned

Night shift Material Handler, with ability to cross and cover all Ritchie County locations as needed.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, who are self-motivated but also a team player. This position will cover any Ritchie County location as needed but primarily based in Pennsboro. All employees have the ability to level up as job knowledge increases.

• Works safely and applies STOP on the job
• Forklift experience preferred
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• General upkeep and 5S of designated area
• Maintaining quality process control checks and following standard work instructions
• Escalating quality, safety, and productivity concerns using proper chain of command
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently
• Ensures product is handled in accordance with established standards
• Examines and measures products to verify conformance to standards, using measuring devices, such as templates, gauges or calipers
• Labels scrap carts for color designation
• Effective communication (oral and written)

• Walks / stands 12 hours
• Frequently lifts up to 20 lbs. Occasionally lifts up to 35 lbs. Frequently carries up to 20 lbs; occasionally carries up to 35 lbs.
• Frequently bends, squats, climbs, kneels, twists, push/pull and reach overhead. Must use hands frequently for grasping, fine manipulation and push/pulling
