Overview
Global petrochemical and food ingredients manufacturer seeking an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at a modern, highly automated greenfield production facility. This role is responsible for safety, production performance, team leadership, and continuous improvement within a regulated chemical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Full ownership of manufacturing operations, production performance, and plant execution.
- Leadership of supervisors, operators, and technical teams to deliver consistent results.
- Relentless focus on EHS compliance, incident prevention, and safety culture.
- Achievement of production targets, cost controls, yield improvement, and loss reduction.
- Deployment of operational excellence initiatives to improve productivity and throughput.
- Manage budgets, CAPEX projects, and performance reporting.
- Establishment of performance metrics, dashboards, and benchmarking standards
- Support long term operational and strategic initiatives
- Bachelors in Engineering + 15 plus years of experience
- or High school diploma + 20 plus years of chemical manufacturing leadership.
- Strong technical knowledge of chemical plant operations.
- Proven leadership experience in petrochemical or specialty chemical facilities.
- Experience with safety programs, quality systems, and cost control.
Location:
Proctor, WV (lump sum relocation assistance)
Compensation: $135,000 to $150,000 + Bonus opportunity
