The Material Handler is responsible for the following warehouse activities, including but not limited to: receiving, fullcase orders, repacking stock, and fullcase stock.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Receive supplier shipments
- Pick customer orders
- Operate forklifts or other equipment
- Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
- Operate a handheld scanner
- Obtain power equipment certifications (electric power jack, walker/rider, forklift)
- Meet and exceed quality and production standards
- Take direction from management
- Adhere to DC housekeeping guidelines
- Ensure safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times
- Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and all applicable policies, rules, regulations, and procedures
- Perform any other tasks and duties as assigned
- High School diploma preferred
- Knowledge and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or other platforms
- Excellent attendance record
- Willingness and ability to work overtime
- Good comprehension and organizational skills
- Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
- Ability to maintain accurate records and demonstrate problem‑solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Team player with a can‑do attitude
- Power equipment certification is a plus
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Meet physical assessment requirements for the position
- Lift up to 25 lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally, and 75 lbs rarely
- Complete the physical assessment at the Material Handler II level
