Night Shift Materials Stock Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Materials Stock Controller, here at Yorkshire Baker, working nights, from 6pm-6am, Wednesday to Saturday.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth-running of stocks and associated paperwork, ensuring accurate recording of stocks and producing usable reports for the wider business

• Conduct accurate nightly stocks
• Liaise with Despatch and other Area Managers in other departments regarding any potential product and material issues
• Always keep the Loading Bay/Marshall area clean and tidy
• Assist the despatch teams in any areas requiring assistance to meet delivery targets and unloading targets
• Ensure the relevant stock control systems are maintained accurately and all areas are counted within the specified time frames
• Ensure adherence to all standards and processes relating to CCP monitoring, glass, complaints, label verifications and other paperwork in your department
• Inform the relevant Managers of any stock discrepancies without delay
• Ensure accurate and complete stock records are collated and maintained at all times
• Rotate stock in all chillers / Freezers in accordance to the correct rotation patterns and procedures
• Assist the despatch teams in any areas requiring assistance in order to meet delivery targets and unloading targets

• Reliable, motivated with a can-do attitude
• Previous experience of using scanners, an advantage
• Good understanding of health & safety
• Logical, common sense approach to problem solving
• Good numeric, literacy and communication skills
