About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Supervisor or Account Group Supervisor to join a growing healthcare communications team supporting pharmaceutical and biotech clients. This individual will play a key role leading client relationships, managing integrated programs, and partnering with internal teams to deliver high-quality market access, payer, and patient support communications.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong agency background and experience working across patient access, reimbursement, payer engagement, patient services, and market access initiatives. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys both day-to-day account leadership and strategic client partnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day client lead across market access and patient support accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Lead project planning, timelines, budgets, forecasting, and resource management.
• Coordinate closely with strategy, scientific, creative, digital, and project management teams.
• Provide strategic guidance on payer communications, reimbursement resources, patient support materials, and access-focused initiatives.
• Drive organic account growth and identify opportunities to expand existing business.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives.
• Mentor and develop junior account team members.
• Support new business opportunities, including proposal development and pitch preparation.

Preferred Experience

• 5-8+ years of experience within a healthcare communications, medical communications, or pharmaceutical agency environment.
• Experience managing pharmaceutical or biotech accounts.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Proven budget management and forecasting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to grow client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff.
