Boone Memorial Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Nursing team full-time on the Night Shift
.

Who We Are

Boone Memorial Health (BMH) is a growing, rural Critical Access Health System located in Madison, West Virginia. At the heart of our system is a 25-bed inpatient hospital, supported by a network of clinics and specialty services across Boone County and surrounding areas. Our Nursing Floor provides individualized, patient-centered care for those requiring hospitalization, and our nurses are the foundation of that mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to inpatients, including assessments, care planning, medication administration, and evaluation.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other clinical staff to coordinate and deliver quality care.
• Support patients and families with education, updates, and emotional support.
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of West Virginia
• Prior inpatient or acute care nursing experience (preferred)
• Current BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and professional approach to patient care

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Required Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree or higher in nursing from a regionally accredited college or a diploma nursing program
• Successful completion of NCLEX-RN
• Current license through West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses
• Minimum of six months of recent experience as an RN

Preferred Education And Experience

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• EMR experience (Preferred)
