Position: RN - (Registered Nurse) - Substance Abuse

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in Substance Abuse to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients dealing with addiction and substance use disorders. Your expertise in managing complex patient needs and your commitment to holistic recovery will be essential in facilitating positive outcomes for our patients.

We need (1) Full-Time RNs for 7am-7:30PM (DAY) and (1) Full-Time RN for 7pm-7:30am (NIGHT). This is Full-Time (3-4 shifts per week)! Rotating weekend is required.

Hourly Rate: $50

OT & Holiday Rate: $75

Pay Period: Sunday to Saturday

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with substance use disorders to determine care needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, focusing on the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of recovery.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding substance abuse, recovery processes, and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and facilitate referrals to additional services as needed.
  • Document patient progress and intervention outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
  • Participate in continuous education and training to remain current with best practices in substance abuse treatment.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) may be considered.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in substance abuse or behavioral health settings.
  • Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of substance abuse treatment modalities and recovery-oriented practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
