Position Summary: Perform a variety of security and safety related functions while involved in the safeguarding of employees, patients, visitors, physicians, and property.

• Education/Certification: Must be a high school graduate as evidenced by a diploma or GED equivalency certificate; must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, maintain a driving record free of any violations, and pass a safe driving educational program upon hire and annually thereafter to participate in the Fleet Vehicle Program; must possess a current Connecticut Security Officer Identification Card or obtain it within six (6) months of hire;
  
  must obtain CPI conflict resolution training within six (6) months of hire.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of previous security or security‑related experience, such as law enforcement, or military service is required.
• Competencies: Must be able to proficiently read, speak, and write in English to effectively communicate on a daily basis with staff, patients, and visitors.
