The opportunity – Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Security Officers to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. • Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor
• Conduct cash escorts as required
• Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity
• Operate a motorized vehicle when necessary
• Maintain crowd control as required
• Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug test
• Must be able to be licensed by State Gaming Commission
• Ability to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations when handling guest issues or complaints
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to communicate through two‑way radio
• Bending, stooping, lifting and carrying occasionally
• Vision sufficient to perform duties day or night
• Exposure to an occasionally smoky and loud environment
