As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive access-control practices and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.

+ Control access to restricted manufacturing and industrial areas, screen incoming personnel and vehicles in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business facilities, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

* + At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
