Position Summary:

Looking for a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team. Execute routine maintenance tasks to uphold safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart stores, equipment, or fixtures under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager.

$19.00/hr - $35.00/hr

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and hand/power tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive, prioritize and document reactive repair work orders to support stores and store associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety and equipment training.

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs at a time.
• Ability to move up and down ladders and work safely at heights.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods and work in various temperatures.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• Vocational or technical certification and either 3 years experience or 5 years overall experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
