As a Field Technician, you’ll get hands‑on experience supporting public safety and energy infrastructure projects across the United States—while traveling, problem‑solving, and growing your technical skills.
No prior experience is needed and we provide all the training!

MRR is a trusted company specializing in natural gas odorization, the critical process that helps keep communities safe and energy flowing. From our new, state‑of‑the‑art facility in Philippi, WV, we support odorant projects nationwide.

What You’ll Do- Install, remove, and maintain odorization systems (odorant tanks, lines, fittings, sensors, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on odorization equipment
- Safely transfer odorants and assist with odorant spill remediation
- Support natural gas pipeline pickling projects
- Complete detailed documentation (work orders, DOT logs, reports)
- Travel to client sites across the U.S. (drive or fly, up to 75% travel)
- Maintain safety compliance with DOT and OSHA standards
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
- Ability to interpret basic diagrams and schematics (tanks, pumps, valves, etc.)
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and on your feet
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet for reporting
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willing to travel extensively
- HVAC installation or service
- Welding, pipe fitting, or fabrication
- Mechanical or industrial maintenance
- Electrical or instrumentation exposure
- Oil & gas, utilities, construction, or industrial trades
- Full training in all aspects of odorization
