• Architect, build, and lead backend services that scale to handle large workloads and high concurrency
• Design and implement autoscaling strategies, dynamic resource allocation, and load balancing for efficient service delivery
• Optimize end-to-end request pipelines for latency, throughput, reliability, and accuracy
• Monitor and profile production systems, troubleshoot performance issues, and proactively enhance services
• Collaborate with ML/AI teams to ensure models' serving pipelines maintain accuracy and performance under load

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience with scalable, high-performance distributed systems/services
• Strong experience in performance optimization, including profiling, latency tuning, and caching strategies
• Deep understanding of autoscaling, resource management, and load balancing
• Proficient in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C++, or equivalent)
• Experience operating across multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or hybrid environments

• Experience with AI/ML model deployment, serving, and production integration
• Familiarity with Generative AI and serving large language models (LLMs)
• Exposure to on-prem delivery models or regulated environments
• Experience with Docker and building containerized applications
