Pay & Benefits:
Local/Regional:
Avg $70,000/year

OTR: $90,000+

Mileage Pay: OTR $.59/mile | Regional $.52/mile | Local $23–$25/hr

Extra pay:
Live load/unload, dock pay, drop & hook, sweep, double switches

Requirements:
1+ year CDL-A experience

Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain in 90 days for top pay)
Clean

Equipment & Routes:
Modern Freightliner, International, Mack tractors

Mostly automatic; some manual

APUs, ELDs, Drivewyze
Terminals that provide safe space to take breaks
Short-haul dry van, mostly drop & hook, lanes in NC, VA, MD, NJ, DE, PA, OH, WV, occasional GA
