1. Main duties and responsibilities

• Receiving materials: Receive deliveries from suppliers, unload trucks, and check that the correct quantities have arrived and that items are not damaged.
• Storing stock: Place materials and spare parts in their correct warehouse bins and storage locations.
• Issuing supplies: Collect and issue requested parts and supplies to mine personnel.
• Record keeping: Record all incoming and outgoing stock accurately using computer systems or other required methods.
• Stock control: Conduct inventory checks and help ensure that physical stock matches the recorded quantities.
• Safety and housekeeping: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, secure, and free from hazards.
• Equipment operation: Operate a forklift and other machinery when required.
• Other duties: Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
