Staff Accountant

This is a full-time, fully onsite opportunity located in West Warwick, RI. The Staff Accountant will support key accounting and financial reporting functions while helping ensure accurate and timely financial records. This role will be responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledger activities, financial close, and related reporting. The Staff Accountant will collaborate closely with finance and operational teams to support business objectives, maintain strong internal controls, and contribute to process improvements.

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations while maintaining accurate general ledger and fixed asset records.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and prepare schedules for treasury and financial reporting.
• Support inventory and manufacturing accounting activities.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, compliance activities, accounting documentation, and internal controls.
• Participate in ERP and process improvement initiatives and perform additional accounting and financial analysis as needed.

• Accounting experience with a strong understanding of general accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manufacturing accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teams.

This position offers a competitive annual salary of $60,000–$80,000 , depending on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
