Science and STEM Summer Camp Assistant Teacher

Apply to be an Assistant Instructor in our Summer STEM programs at Black Rocket Productions.

• Lead in‑room instruction for kids ages 6–14 during 4–10 week summer seasons, starting in June.
• Deliver STEM and baking activities aligned with program curriculum.
• Facilitate engaging, hands‑on learning experiences that encourage science inquiry and creativity.
• Maintain a positive, safe learning environment and communicate with parents/guardians as needed.

• 18 years of age or older.
• College students in education, culinary arts, biology, chemistry, engineering or other STEM fields encouraged.
• Experience working with children in a formal or informal setting (e.g., babysitting, tutoring, coaching).
• Strong background in science or baking, familiarity with the scientific method, engineering concepts, creative thinking or baking techniques.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no work sponsorship or accommodations offered.
• Availability for a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday, with potential to start online training in May.
• Must love working with kids.
