Registered Behavior Technician; RBT

Overview

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role at Children's Specialized ABA – part of the Children's Specialized Hospital Autism Center of Excellence. We serve children with ASD through clinical innovation, whole-child care, and personalized therapy.

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions in-home or clinic-based.
• Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans.
• Use electronic tools such as Central Reach for preference assessments and data tracking.
• Collaborate in clinical meetings, receive ongoing feedback and supervision.
• Maintain program books and develop teaching materials.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers.
• Provide basic care (e.g., toileting, eating) as needed.

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation (travel up to 20 miles).
• RBT certification preferred; training provided if not certified.
• Prior experience working with children; ASD experience strongly preferred.
• Consistent weekly schedule commitment.
• Physically able to perform duties (kneeling, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs, moving with children).

Day‑care services to clients within Princeton, NJ. Premium pay for sessions after 5 PM, paid drive time between clients, and weekly BCBA supervision. Available 3:30 pm–8:00 pm block, minimum 4 days per week, roughly 10–20 hours per week.

Expected salary range: $25–$40 per hour. Final compensation based on skills, education, experience, certifications, market conditions, and internal equity.
