Job Description

Open Sky supports adults with developmental and intellectual challenges who are referred by the Department of Developmental Services. Our mission is to provide homes that are safe, nurturing, and address each individual’s personal needs and preferences. The Residential Counselor supports individuals diagnosed with a developmental disability to live as independently as possible, delivering evidence‑based treatment and care in a group‑living environment.

Counselors advocate for the individuals served, help them integrate into the community, and maintain health, safety, and well‑being.

Salary

USD $20.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person‑centered treatment plans and lead the daily implementation of those plans.
• Implement all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well‑being of individuals and the general cleanliness and safety of the physical site.
• Assist individuals to access and/or provide transportation.
• Review and complete all required documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.
