The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with team members and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function and retail to deliver value-added service to management and team members that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
This position is considered a multi-functional role that will provide individualized support to two or more region managers and as needed support to district managers.
- Partner with District and Region Managers to understand their goals and develop HR strategies that support business growth and performance.
- Advise managers on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, resolving complex employee relations issues in compliance with legal and company policies.
- Lead or support the execution of talent management initiatives, including performance reviews, employee engagement programs, and leadership development.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, including regular updates to assigned District/Region groups.
- Ensure HR programs and policies are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support change management initiatives to enhance organizational agility and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HR centers of excellence (e.g., talent acquisition, compensation, learning & development) to deliver comprehensive HR solutions.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops on HR-related topics.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across assigned business areas.
- Other assigned duties as designated by HR Leadership team.
Interfaces all levels within the organization including senior management. Coordinates with external vendor partners, government agencies and outside counsel as needed.
Requirements- Minimum Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field - Preferred Education

Master’s degree in Human Resources - Minimum Experience
: 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a business partner or generalist role. Working knowledge of compensation practices, employee and union relations, performance management, and knowledge of state and federal employment laws. - Preferred Experience
