Distribution Center Maintenance Manager

Base Pay Range

$100,000 – $130,000 per year

We are representing a leading national convenience retailer and distribution network seeking a Maintenance Manager for their high-volume Westborough facility. This is a critical leadership role overseeing the health of a major distribution hub, including material handling equipment (MHE), facility infrastructure, and complex cold-chain systems.

You will manage the site’s preventative and reactive maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and PSM standards. This is a hands‑on leadership position where you will direct a team of technicians, manage the maintenance budget, and oversee capital projects.

• Refrigeration Leadership: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the facility’s Ammonia Refrigeration system, ensuring full compliance with PSM/RMP standards.
• Equipment Management: Oversee maintenance for high-volume tax stamping equipment and Material Handling Equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, conveyors).
• Team Development: Train and evaluate maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Strategic Planning: Manage vendor contracts, spare parts inventory, and labor budgets to maximize equipment uptime.

• Has 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a distribution or food manufacturing environment.
• Possesses a RETA Certification (or equivalent) and a Massachusetts Hoisting License.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of Ammonia Refrigeration systems and Tax Stamping equipment.
• Is proficient in using CMMS for tracking work orders and asset history.
