Responsible for processing, checking, verifying, and inventorying materials received. Completes related computer entries and documentation. Coordinates materials and finished goods storage and inventory levels with production personnel. Moves materials and finished goods to appropriate storage areas. Processes and ships finished goods. Completes related records, reports, and paperwork. Ensures shipping and receiving functions are completed in accordance with Company standards and procedures.

May work indoors or outdoors and at varying temperatures.

Ability to apply common sense of understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables.

Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers; to perform the four basic arithmetic operations with money; to perform operations with units such as inch, foot, and yard; ounce and pound (or their metric counterparts).

Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English to effectively communicate, follow written instructions, complete documentation, and ensure safety and accuracy in daily operations.

Bending downward and forward at the waist. Requires full use of lower extremities and back muscles.

Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

Use of upper body and back muscles to lift objects.

Fingers make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.

Frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.

Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

Repetitive movements frequently and regularly require using the wrists, hands, and fingers.

Visual acuity is necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.

Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. constantly.

Assumes responsibility for the effective completion of assigned receiving and inventory functions.

Assumes responsibility for the effective and timely completion of shipping functions.

Assumes responsibility for ensuring that shipping and receiving functions are completed in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and standards.

Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communication, coordination and working relations with Company personnel and with management.

High school graduate or equivalent.

Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and standards.

Understanding related computer applications.
