Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist and is a DP position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need 3+ years of experience;
Aerospace experience preferred.
- Reads and studies blueprints and customer specifications to perform setup, operations and adjustments of CNC Star Swiss Lathes. G-code edit experience is a plus.
- Performs inspections of self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process).
- Candidates will perform inspection of their produced parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Responsible for changing offsets and tools, performing G-code edits and preventative maintenance of machines.
- Candidate is required to setup machines to achieve their full capabilities.
- 2 years:
Setup experience | 2 years:
Swiss Lathe machines - Tool making experience (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
